From the farms of Manipur
Built on the idea that Manipur's crops deserve a direct route to the people who use them.
Growers across the state supply what's listed here, as part of a wider push to build nutraceutical and eco-tourism capacity in the region.
Verified sourcing
Direct grower relationships. We work with named growers and farms across Manipur, not anonymous middlemen supply chains.
Checked before listing. Every crop on this site is one we've sourced or can source directly — nothing is listed speculatively.
GI provenance respected. Chak-Hao, Kachai lemon, Hathei chilli, and Tamenglong orange are represented with their genuine Geographical Indication status, tied to their registered growing regions.
Sourcing with a lighter footprint
Sourcing direct from Manipur's farms means fewer intermediary journeys between grower and buyer than a typical long, multi-layered supply chain — shorter transport distances by design, not just claim.
We're also mindful of processing waste, and look to route what we can toward composting rather than disposal wherever the option exists.
We don't yet have measured baseline data (transport distances, waste diversion rates) to quantify this as a certified figure — this is a commitment, not a certified carbon claim, until that data exists.
About us
Rooted in Manipur. Inspired by Nature.
In the lush landscapes of Kangleipak—Manipur, nature has always been more than a backdrop to life. It is part of our heritage, our traditions, and our understanding of wellness.
For generations, the people of this land have lived closely with plants, herbs and natural resources, carrying forward knowledge of their uses from one generation to the next. Kangleipak Herbs was born from our desire to honour that relationship with nature and bring the botanical richness of Manipur to a wider world.
We believe that the finest natural products begin with where they come from.
Our journey begins with carefully selected herbs and botanicals, sourced with an emphasis on authenticity, quality and responsible practices. We work towards preserving the natural character of these ingredients while bringing them to modern consumers through thoughtful processing, stringent quality standards and responsible packaging.
Our Heritage, Our Responsibility
The name Kangleipak represents our connection to the land we call home.
Our identity is inspired by the Kanglasha, the powerful mythical dragon-like guardian associated with Manipur's cultural heritage. In our logo, the guardian embraces a living plant held gently in a human hand—a symbol of protection, nature, knowledge and responsibility.
That philosophy lies at the heart of Kangleipak Herbs.
We don't see herbs simply as commodities. We see them as part of a living ecosystem and a heritage worth protecting.
From Manipur to the World
Our vision is to create a trusted platform for the natural wealth of Manipur and the Northeast of India—connecting exceptional herbs and botanical products with customers across India and, eventually, the world.
As we grow, we aim to build relationships with farmers, growers, collectors and local communities, creating opportunities while encouraging sustainable cultivation and responsible sourcing.
Every product we develop carries a simple promise:
Know where it comes from.
Know what goes into it.
Respect what nature gives us.

For aspiring nutrapreneurs
Thinking of building something with Manipur's herbs? You don't have to face the global market alone.
Many aspiring growers and entrepreneurs hold back from nutraceutical and aromatic ventures because the global market feels intimidating — certification, buyer discovery, and the fear of rejection. That barrier is exactly what we're working to lower, alongside institutional partners like MSME Technology Centre Imphal.
You focus on growing and building — we help with market access, processing support, and the credibility that comes from working within a wider network built for this. Global buyers are more reachable than they seem, and you don't have to reach them on your own.
